The IBCA raises funds by selling fireworks in July, holding Shred Day events in April and October, and holding community mixers, which are sponsored by local businesses.

These funds are used to advertise Ione, generally, thru print ads and community events that draw visitors to Ione. A large percentage of the funds are awarded to civic groups and individuals via our Grant Program. Community members or civic groups are encouraged to submit an application for consideration.
